What is an APERITIVO?

Aperitivo culture has continued in Italy for a long time.
Aperitivo is the Italian word for aperitivo, which is derived from the Latin word aperitore, meaning “to open” or “to open” in Italian.
Aperitivo is a culture of enjoying an aperitif in Italy, meaning to fill one's stomach with a little before a full meal.
This culture is rapidly spreading in the U.S. and other parts of the world.

BACK STORY

Created by Meredith Erickson, award-winning author of “Alpine Cooking,” who has sold more than 500,000 cookbooks worldwide, and Richard Betts, co-founder of the ultra-luxury tequila company KOMOS, Doladira is the result of a two-year process of reviewing the quality of the aperitif itself. The result is an aperitif that contains only 80% sugar per liter. As a result, only 80 grams of sugar is used per liter, which is 60% less than the amount used in other products on the market.

Doladira is a combination of two names. The first is Dolamites, our favorite mountain in northeastern Italy, and the second is enrosadira, also known as alpenglow. The second is enrosadira, also called alpenglow, a phenomenon in which the mountains appear to glow red during sunset. This is caused by a mineral called dolomite, which glows and creates a divine sight.
Doladira is inspired by Italian culture and was created in France.

FLAVOR PROFILE

The rhubarb stalks that are the main ingredient in Doladira are slowly macerated over a period of about five months, and then mixed with selected natural ingredients such as bitter orange, gentian, elderflower, pine, rosemary, and other fruits and vegetable herbs. The beautiful red hue is not a synthetic coloring but a natural color extracted from rhubarb and black carrots, and the fresh aroma of herbs and fruits, along with the smooth and soft taste on the palate, makes this aperitif easy to drink and perfectly balanced.
